my two lateral incisor teeth didn't come out.........?!

Question: My two lateral incisor teeth didn't come out.........?
hello every one .. i had this problem since i got rid of my baby teeth. my two lateral incisor teeth just didn't show at all and doctor said they are still inside my gum and that i need to do a surgery. he didn't explain what kind of surgery i should have and if i should wear braces after or before the surgery... im really scared of it and i tried to ignore it for couple of years but my teeth are really annoying me lately... i am 20 now im wondering if my lateral incisor teeth will come out without the surgery :( .... i would appreciate it if someone knows about this situation and can explain it to me and thank u some much for taking the time to read my question...

If your lateral incisors have not erupted by the age of 20 unfortunately I don't think they will on their own. The dentist will probably need to make an incision in your gums to allow them to drop down. I think you should get braces after the laterals have fully erupted. Good luck.
