Question: Root Canal? How much does it hurt? Really Scared :( ?
Okay so I'm only 16 and I went to the dentist today because of jaw pain and found out I need a root canal. I'm really really scared! Can someone please tell me the procedure and what hurts the worse? An would it be possible to be able to listen to my iPod while getting it done? I think the sitting there hearing it would scare me more than anything so would they let me listen to my iPod?? Anything would help I want to honest truth of how your experience with it went! Please answer and thanks <3

Hi ,

I know how you feel. I like many others have an adverse fear of the dentist which is due to a really frightening experience when I was a kid. I used to have sleepless nights and break out in cold sweats just thinking about it. That is until my friends told me about a youtube video which I related to and I got a hold of a Free Fear report which helped me to address my fear to take action.

I found a really sympathetic dentist who helped me step by step encouraging me to get the treatment I needed.

I no longer have teeth or gums problems and have got to the stage that seeing the dentist is just not such an ordeal now. This has also helped my friends and I can assure you that I was the dentist's worse patient. Not now and if you are truly phobic and afraid of the dentist get to see the video and the report is life changing.

Whatever teeth problems you have then only solution is by seeing your dentist of finding one who you relate to.

See if you relate to the video below and if so get the report which helped me to get my teeth sorted and overcome my fear. I know it will help you.

Do not suffer any longer. Get your smile back.
All the best, and keep smiling ok?

They can give you Nitrous Oxide, more commonly referred to as laughing gas, is a form of inhalation sedation regularly used in dentist offices. If you are in need of a dental procedure such as a root canal I say strap on the mask and let the nitrous oxide relax you. They will then numb the area & you should be able to listen to your ipod.

depends how bad it is, they would just numb it and cant feel a thing, you would just feel a pull and push and you would aslo have a funny taste.
