Braces and wisdom teeth?!

Question: Braces and wisdom teeth?
I just got my braces off, and I went to the dentist and they told me that I should think about getting my wisdom teeth out. They haven't come in yet, and I'm 16. They said I should get them out so they don't cause crowding. My question is, is it better to get them out now, when they aren't in, or wait until they have started to come in. And honestly, how painful is it to get them out, and what and all is involved in getting them out? Thanks guys!

You should really really really really do what your dentist advises in this case, your wisdom teeth will cause you so many problems in the future

i have all four of mine in right now and one is almost full impacted and im getting braces next week my orthodontist says that he doesnt think that they need to be removed because i have enough room in my mouth nor will they be A problem in the future. honestly i would do what my dentist tells me becuase now that your braces are off when they come in they can cause your teeth to shift right back into its original position so i would have them removed.but brace yourself because this is oral surgery it wont be easy so go for it and good luck.

getting braces next week

get them out before they come in, cus if you wait for them to come in they could effect your other teeth. i am 13 and i got mine out, the pain isn't that bad but your cheeks will get really swollen and it takes a few days for the swelling to go away. when you get them out all they do is put you to sleep, so you won't remember any of it.
