Who can view my dental records?!

Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years. Only the people you give permission to do so can see ANY medical records. Why would your boss or principle need to see your records?

You're dentist has to give them to whoever wants them. Only with you're permission unless they need it for legal action (like if you're found dead they check teeth records to match them). Or in serious needs like if you need fast medical dental attention and you can't talk to give permission.

Hello, If your a "minor", your parents can view your records. If your an adult, no one but the Dr or required staff, unless you sign a waver that "expressly identifies" who can have access to your records.
