Should I get my wisdom teeth removed?!

Question: Should I get my wisdom teeth removed?
I would prefer to keep them however my bottom set are impacted and unlikely to budge much past what they are and the skin is opened and can get infected around the sides of the tooth. I get that those should most likely come out however, my top set are in and fine. The dentist says if I don't have them taken out they will come down further and further looking for a place to rest and can hurt my gums once I had the lower teeth removed. He says they are already out further than they should be. I am going to be completly knocked out for this procedure yet I am completly chicken... It skeeves me out and I hate the thought of swallowing all that spit and blood and being unable to spit it out. When I was pregnant I had a hypersalivation problem and if I tried to swallow I sometimes threw up... I got an appt tomorrow but I am letting myself chicken out...

I was very scared too but you can get some anxiety meds for leading up to it, then be knocked out during it. It's better to have them out so they don't cause problems. If they come in funny they can push all your teeth out of alignment, then you've got another problem. I never thought I could do it, but am so glad!

If is necessary be removed, you should don′t think about and, looking for a very good surgeron. Who only do it, usually be quickly, compare the anothers professional that do anothers clinical procedures. Don′t ask people. Each one have a unique experience and you can′t compare with you. Don′t be afraid, looking for a very good surgeron, with a good experience and finish it!

I waited 10 years to have my wisdoms out until they were massively impacted and had to have 4 out at once. It hurt a lot and I could not eat properly for a week so my advice is don't wait. better some pain now than a lot later.

If it's not necessary to have them removed, DON'T DO IT.
I don't want to alarm you, but I had mine removed last month and I'm not going to sugar-coat it: it was the WORST experience of my LIFE.
Everyone's experience is entirely different, but on the 3rd day the pain got so bad that I had to be prescribed a special type of morphine. The medication made me SO SICK. On top of that I couldn't open my mouth. I was up for 2 nights straight in absolute agony having hallucinations, vomiting, etc. I wouldn't wish what I went through on the spawn of satan.
After that ordeal I slept for 4 days straight pretty much, suffering from a "hangover" as a result of the terrible medication. Hell on earth.
