Question: Whats wrong with my mouth?
ever since i stopped using my electric toothbrush(in august) brushing my teeth has been painful. i floss everynight and brush twice a day. especially on my front lower gums tha bleed frequently and are always sore to brush. other places like just hurt to floss. i've switched my manual brush twice amd nothingmakes a difference..the have all been soft bristles too. whhy is this?

I had the same thing, I used a toothpaste called sensodyne I think, and it helped the pain go away quickly

This sounds like 60 percent of the people I see. It's gingivitis. Inflammation of the gingiva (gums).
Keep these guys clean. Use Listerine. Get a professional cleaning. Floss gently but thoroughly.
Being clean is the best way to reduce gingivitis. Simple.
