i have a retainer that you have to clean with the eally little brushes but i don't know ho wto clean spaces they only showed me how to clean the gums without how to clean the food above it and under ir thanx p.s. can you give a website that provide pics if possible

You can use a regular toothbrush to clean that area. Do it the usual way from both directions but to get the lodged food out of it you might wanna get a dental floss to be more thorough.
The back of your lower front teeth collects a lot of plaque so you wanna take care of it better than the rest because this is one of the neglected sites in the mouth.
