Quick and slight pain in top molar when i yawn.?!

Question: Quick and slight pain in top molar when i yawn.?
About a week ago I started getting this slight pain, or just a weird feeling in one of my top right molars when i yawn or open my mouth wide. The pain/irritation only last a second and i can here a little *click* in my tooth when it happens. It only happens if my mouth has been shut or not widely opened for a while. I've had some dental work done on it a long time ago. I had some caps put in.

Thanks in advance for answers.

The same thing happens to me.

if its on the molar then have it checked.. the caps might be loose or fit wrong..

but if its actually your jaw then you might have temporomandibular joint disorder, a slight imperfection of the jaw when your jaw open and closes.. this can cause a clicking jaw when you yawn.. and you might have had this problem for a long time but never noticed it until recently because you became more aware of that area because of the caps you had done.. i only say this because yawning or opening or closing of your jaw doesn't have an affect on molar teeth what so ever..

if you hold your fingers near the bottom of your ear and can feel a click or weird movement then its your jaw.. but don't panic.. most people have a slight temporomandibular joint dysfunction.. try messaging your jaw before yawning and see if it helps with the clicking..
