What is the maximum amount of time that a person can wait for root canal when hi!

Question: What is the maximum amount of time that a person can wait for root canal when his teeth is going bad?
i need root canals and my teeth hurt very bad. i have absessed teeth too. gums are infected. this has been going on for the past 4 days. i lack dental insurance and have just about 1000 in bank. I am trying to find out the cheapest an endodontist would charge for root canal and crown. in the meanwhile my teeth are deteriorating and i don't want tooth extraction. i want to save my teeth real bad but i am running into some financial difficulties. Please advise me what to do. i can't afford more than 1000 out of pocket.

Answers:

You probably shouldn't wait. Abscesses mean that its already seeped into the bone under your tooth, meaning that its already progressed completely through your tooth. The next step would likely be your tooth being taken out. Try and see if you can get treatment in dental schools in your area, perhaps its cheaper there. Waiting to address dental concerns isn't a good idea.

1000 Dollars probably wont cut it.

Take out a loan if you have to. Would you rather be in debt, or have no teeth?
Because you sure can't afford dentures.

I'm not sure what exactly to do if they hurt. I'm 13 years old now, and I have had 1 super bad root canal, 1 bad cavity, and 1 small cavity. I got my root canal tooth when I was only 6. For some reason, it's never hurt, and I was close to getting it fixed but I'm too scared of needles. I would recommend talking to your dentist about it, or consulting one, if you're lacking one. Google something? Depending on how many root canals you need to have done will depend on the cash they'll need. Also, they only do ONE root canal, cavity, ect every time you visit, so they won't be doing all of your root canals, or even 2 of them in one visit. Sorry! This probably mightn't help, but I hope it did!
