Can sneezing 5 days after a wisdom tooth extraction cause dry sockets?!

Question: Can sneezing 5 days after a wisdom tooth extraction cause dry sockets?
Okay, I'm so paranoid. I had my wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday. Today, I went to the dentist and I don't have dry sockets. Yay.

I came home 2 hours later and sneezed. I hated myself for it. I don't know why. I want to kill myself. I feel like I'm going to get a dry socket. No, I don't recall blood coming out or anything...but my wound feels funny when I sneeze. OH MY GOD. Why am I freaking out?

Sneezing does not affect this. You already have five days worth of healing.

No, sneezing after 5 days wont cause dry sockets. Dry socket usually develops 2 to 3 days after an extraction. Once you hit 5 days and things are still fine it is highly unlikely that you will develop dry socket. Even if you did develop dry socket, I did once because I took aspirin that thinned my blood and loosened the clot, its nothing to want to kill yourself over. It hurts but it's treatable and the cost for treating it is usually covered in the bill you paid for the extraction. No big thing. But seriously, after 48 hours you're generally pretty safe from that problem and certainly after 5 days.
