What are my options as far as braces treatment a missing tooth?!

Question: What are my options as far as braces treatment a missing tooth?
Okay a under bite. Also the two front teeth are fine. The tooth RIGHT beside the front tooth is missing on the left side. The tooth on the other side of the front tooth is there but came in crooked and small. My insurance is paying for the braces 100% but I'm worried about what are my options for later? I have no money right now.

Thanks

wow, i have the exact same problem! im in the process of fixing mine right now. its been about 3 years and the process is almost over. i had an underbite and was born with the exact same tooth missing as well.

i had braces put on when i was 16. im 18 now. the reason why my teeth were crooked was because that one tooth was missing so all the teeth shifted over into that space. so i never had a gap where that tooth was missing. Im not sure if yours is like that too.

So they put the braces on and corrected my underbite, next they moved all the teeth to where they were supposed to be and that opened up the gap to where my missing tooth was, so they attached a fake tooth onto one of the brackets on my braces. no one could tell i was missing a tooth.

2 years later, i got the braces off. and they gave me a retainer with a fake tooth attached to it for now, while im waiting to get my implant. next, was time to start getting the implant for my missing tooth together, my dentist who was doing the implant said there wasnt enough bone for an implant so i had to have a bone graft. So i had my wisdom teeth removed and a bone graft all at once. a bone graft is when they take bone from elsewhere and add it into the implant spot. if you already have enough bone, you are lucky and dont have to go through all that. you can just get straight to the implant.

in a week im going for my implant now. so there gonna place the screw into my bone and then i believe in 6 months they will attach the tooth. and i will be the happiest person ever. :)

sorry its so long. but this is the process that im going through. surley if you dont want an implant there are other options. but i found that implants are the best. they last the longest and are most reliable.

i wish you the best of luck.
