Question: I have braces and i have a cavity!?
i have braces. but the problem is both of my parents have dental problem (especally my dad) and i have a cavity. what will happen. i have like a year and a half left for them to be on so what do i do. what will they do. i am going to the dentist this wendsday and my dad said that they have to take off my braces to fill in the cavity. is this true? if not what is true. HELP!!!!!

This isnt true. i had a cavity when i had my braces AND this thing at the top of my mouth to push my teeth back, and they dont mess with your braces at all, they just fix the cavity. good luck and brush well!(:

You're not the first kid with braces and a cavity.
Depending on where the cavity is they will either take them off or just take the wire out.
