Your grinding your teeth at night during sleep, as a result the jaw jumps out of place on occasions and now that the muscles and ligaments that hold the jaw joint in place, have weakened due to this constant stretching, and the jaw will continue to jump out of place whilst grinding teeth at night and possibly, when yawning. Take care NOT to over extend your jaw when yawning, as it won't pop in again of it's own accord and will require the attention of the A&E doctor.
See your GP who may recommend a surgical procedure to tighten the ligaments/muscles. Or see your dentist, who may be able to offer you a teeth retainer to be worn at night, to stop you grinding your teeth and stop the jaw jumping out of place.
Your dentist should be your first reference on this one. Tooth grinding will be contributing to this and it may also indicate the start of a TMJ problem, both which also have a link to stress (?).
But an assessment with your dentist and a discussion will perhaps help you and he will perhaps offer you a sleep/bite plate for night time use. He also can xray on the spot and make a referral into the Maxillo Facial unit if need be.
But catch it early as it becomes very complex if it develops into a TMJ issue.
