Wisdom teeth surgery help?!

Question: Wisdom teeth surgery help?
I'm supposed to be getting my wisdom teeth out sometime soon.. My bottom ones have already broke through, but my top ones haven't. Here's the bad part about it all: My bottom ones are growing in sideways, sort of pointing to the front of my face. I'm pretty sure my top ones are too if I remember the x-rays correctly. I had braces, and I last went to my orthodontist to get my mouth checked and all and it's when they told me all four wisdom teeth needed to be taken out by surgery or else they'll scrunch my teeth up again. My mom looked at them a while ago and was like "well there through all the way so we can go ahead and let a dentist pull them!" and I'm thinking, no...because they were already poking through whenever I was at my orthodontist and they said I should get a surgeon to take them out, and that was last July (we've put it off a little but they've recently started KILLING me.. If they are through, which they are just a liiiiiittle bit, can a dentist take them out? Can I ask them to put me to sleep because I definitely won't want to be awake.. How much will it cost a surgeon to do it? Oh, and I'm in basketball season right now. We're just getting into district playoffs then state playoffs come in about three weeks..How long do you think I'll be out? I'm afraid I'll get hit in the mouth and collapse to the floor crying and I don't like the thought of all that pain..lol
Thanks!

You should let a dental surgeon check it out..when they surgically remove the teeth they do put you to sleep but i'm not sure about what they do if they're already growing out...when i did the surgery in December it cost about $200. per tooth..after the surgery you'll take about 1 week to start feeling normal again and for the swelling to go down, so in 3 weeks you should be fine.
