Invisalign, Metal or Ceramic braces?!
Question: Invisalign, Metal or Ceramic braces?
So i was at my school's bball game and my friend just performed for her drill team and i was holding her pom poms and my friend took a picture!! :) it was cute!
She posted it today on my wall and my teeth looked soo weird!
My teeth are a bit back or a bit foward and spaced! :( and i have ONE snaggle tooth... It realy isnt THAT bad i mean its pretty minor but i really dont like how i look!
For the past few years ive been trying to ask my parents to go to my local ortho to get a free visit because apperantelly he is the best in our state or so ive heard from my friends....
METAL: So my ex friend got braces and she said they sucked and to say the least she didnt look good at first now her teeth are pretty but metal braces are gross on me if i can imagine it and i heard they REALLY hurt...
CERAMIC: my best friend now has ceramic clear braces the ones where the bands and brakets are clear white-ish.... and she says they never really hurt her but usually she is like never in pain cause she is like ouch okay whatever...! haha
INVISALIGN: ive never heard of anyone that i know of who has invisalign i heard it could prolly work for my teeth but i dont want to spend ALL THAT MONEY and then after it was for nothing :(((
My other best friend kelsie is getting braces soon and only needs them for 9 MONTHS!!
im hoping mine is like that it costs less and its a small time to have them.
Which one do you prefer? and if you have/had any of these tell me how it was?

I can't really answer the question but I wunted to tell u to check out incognito braces bcus u can't c em and there beter priced than sum othr 1s AND the kgobehind your teeth which is awsum bcus it's bad enough yer teeth r messed up now the hav to have metal on top on them? Eww no invisalign isn't really that expesive but I and never get them 2 much work get sum quotes brit u decide
I have ceramic braces right now, about to get them off, they didnt hurt at all and you can't really tell they are there, the invisalign wont really work, especially since it hurts your gums and if you forget to put them on, the treatment is longer..i would def recommend ceramic braces

I have the ice clear ones and really like them. I'm 30 so I didn't want something that would look weird on my teeth. If you get the clear rubber bands they're almost invisible except for the wire.

invasalign is a waste of money. period. I honestly would go with metal braces just because i felt more secure about them working and yes i guess they are a bit painful but your getting your teeth lifted then rotated, of course its going to hurt. Ceramics are prone to problems and i personally think they look gross. Like plaque build up or something. Metal was my way to go.
Ceramics = Bulky, and i hear they hurt your lips more because they are so much more bulky.
Invisalign = It could work, and you dont have the appearance of having nasty brackets and wires in your mouth.
Metal = What I have. They don't hurt anymore than ceramics will. You go through the same process of geting them tightened. They don't hurt that bad anyways. It just depends how crooked your teeth are, and how far they're moving them that month.
Your ortho will keep your braces on as long as they possibly can btw.
But thank god i get mine off tomorrow, and it's been less than two years!
Ceramic braces sometimes stain (I've heard). I have metal and they are great. They hurt the first few days but then you can't really feel them. My siblings and friends have had metal braces and have had great results. Invisalign doesn't really work unless you are just trying to fix your teeth a little bit. Overall, I would say metal are best. But go to your orthodontist and ask what she/he thinks you should get.
