Tingly Tongue Sensation?!

Question: Tingly Tongue Sensation?
Hi, My tongue has been feeling tingly (almost feels numb - even though it is not) for the past 3 - 4 months. This tingly feeling does not move nor does it present itself on any other part of my body. I am a smoker, but have recently quit as I believed smoking has caused this, but unfortunately the sensation is still present. Now the feeling on tinglyness increases when after I eat. So it seems that eating irritates it and smoking does. Im just wondering what this could be - I can recall the sensation appearing when a wisdom tooth started coming out. But if its nerve damage why does it worsen after eating? Its not painful - its more annoying then anything. I find that if I am not thinking about it I don't really notice it. PS: I suffer from OCD

could be due to smoking or OCD.
best thing is to forget about it and enjoy your meal.
try doing warm salt water rinses after 30 min of your meal.this helps in blood circulation in the mouth.
