Question For People Who Have Had Or Have Braces?!

I'm wearing braces for about 1.5 years now. I think the tightening isn't really painful. They just change the wire and rubber bands. Sure, it'll feel tight but its not painful. You might have troubles with solid food for the first few hours but so far for me, the feeling will go away within a day. And it'll get better when your teeth are straighter.

As for the stained teeth, I'm not that sure since i haven't took them off yet. But I'm think they'll polish it for you ;) But I think it wouldn't be stained that badly as I had one of my brackets replaced during my last visit. And I saw that there weren't any stains on my tooth when it was taken off.

There are several types of dental braces - some are better than others. This is explained in a Blog Article, which says, for example, "Damon braces are also more hygienic since they do not have o-rings which tend to trap plaque and bacteria". So this type of brace may be the best for you as you might get less staining. There are ways that you can whiten your teeth at home if they do become stained.

I have braces, for about one and a half years. when you are getting them tightened they will remove the wire. It is really pain full. I personally found a way to fix the pain, before you go to visit the orthodontist, you drink as much coke as possible, the carbon, what makes coke fizzy, will make you gums num, basically the more you drink the better. I'm a dentist.

Getting them tightened only hurts for a day or two no where near as much as when you first get them on. I am getting my braces off in march and a lot of my friends have already got them off and if your teeth are a different colour than when you first got your braces on I am pretty sure they whiten them for you.

Tightening might be slightly uncomfortable, but that's all.
Braces only straighten teeth but once I had mine removed the orthodontist whitened my teeth.
Your gums might get cut up by the braces but it's nothing to worry about.

Experience

when they tighten your teeth your teeth hurts so dont eat anything after like about 3 hour
and to get rid of stain teeth brush normally maybe a btr longer and use mouthwash
it takes long but its better than nothing

yes it will hurt but not at first just take an aleve after their tightened and just brush thoroughly after each meal an d you wont have to worry about staining
