Why didn't my dentist tighten my braces yet?!


Question: Why didn't my dentist tighten my braces yet?
So I got braces like 4 months ago and I had an appointment today and they didn't tighten my braces yet! Everytime I go there all they do is change my braces color. And once they adjusted my wire thats it. Why won't they tighten them?
