Get a tongue scraper, I have never looked back!

Umm well for me i had bad breath this really helped me

1 . Bought a new toothbrush ( because some toothbrushes bristles sometimes might get old and produce ugly odors )

2 . i dont know if this is where you are but there is something called " sore throught gargle "
its usually used for a sore throught obviously , but it can also remove ugly odors !

3 . After brushing my teeth ( with my new toothbrush :P ) , i put my toothbrush in the gargle and brushed my teeth and tongue for about 5 mins ( once a day )

4 . In about a week you will get your beautiful breath back .

Bad breath is primarily cause by odor causing bacteria behind your tongue. There are other cause
1. Gum diseases
2. Poor oral hygiene
3. Gastro-intestinal problems
4. Sinusitis
5. Others.

Solution?

Depends on the cause but first
1. Improve your oral hygiene
2. Brush the back of your tongue
3. Get and use a tongue scrapper
4. Use a mouthwash to both rinse and GAGGLE
5. go for a professional scaling and polishing
6. ask dentist to check if you have periodontal pockets
7. make sure you don't have sinusitis
8.If all fails, see a doctor

Cheers!!

I suffered from bad breath for years and it was an absolute nightmare. I used to brush my teeth 5 times a day and after 10 minutes I would get a horrible metallic taste in my mouth and I would be stinking again. I tried every mouthwash on the market and some were very effective... for a couple of days then you just become immune to them. Some bad breath designed mouthwashes are better and last a bit longer or just make your breath smell of chemicals or alcohol. I remember people were always thinking I had been drinking from my breath, when i had just been using an alcohol free mouthwash. Basically life was a nightmare and I was scared to talk to anyone. The idea of kissing someone was the last thing on my mind. Doctors and dentists were totally uneducated on the subject.
My unorthodox solution will no doubt be unpopular with the dentists and doctors, but if you really find that nothing else works I recommend menthol cigarettes. A few a day will be enough.
No this is not a joke, it is something that worked for me. Regular cigarettes are totally ineffective but menthol ones seem to kill the bacteria at the back of the tongue that are causing all the problems. Now smoking is not healthy and will cause other problems in your life but if your situation was like mine then what have you got to lose? A few years off your life? An emptier wallet?
I quit smoking at the start of 2010 (after 6 years of puffing) and I would have stuck at it if it wasn't for the return of the evil taste and the smell after a week. I am sitting here now and have not brushed me teeth for 2 days (not a good practice I admit) but I am not afraid to kiss my girlfriend, EVER!

Brush your teeth after every meal of the day, & make sure you clean your tongue THOROUGHLY. Use a mouthwash you prefer and keep breath mists, chewing gum, or mouth strips at hand.
Sometimes bad breath can be caused by an empty stomach, make sure you eat something to prevent the bad odor.

brush your teeth regularly. if the bad breath persists, there might be a damaged tooth and for some cases you don't feel pain, but a damaged teeth does smell.

you have to chew mint flavored gum for a really long time. Your results may vary, so be very careful at which flavor of gum you buy.

brush your teeth, floss, breath mints, and drink heaps of water

do what it says here
