A piece of my tooth just fell of. Please help?!

Question: A piece of my tooth just fell of. Please help?
i have never been to the dentist and i iregulary brushed my teeth until a little while ago(stupid i know but i never listened to my parents and i thought i would be fine )
Anyway the piece fell of my bottom front tooth on the inside where the gum is. There is a small hole there now and ive been crying so hard i had a headache. Are my teeth gonna all break and fall off?? My dad is calling the dentist tomorow but i'lll have to wait a week until i go. Am i gonna get fillings or will they take it off???
Please i'm only 13.

Answers:

Your gonna get a filling if you go soon. If you keep allowing the tooth to rott they will ask to do a root canal treatment (not adviced= PAINFUL)

if you dont take that treatment when your tooth is in that state they will just pull it out

Tell the dentist it is an EMERGENCY. They should see you TODAY, or tomorrow at the latest. There is no reason they should put you off for that long (unless you live in a country with socialized medicine, like England or Canada - in that case you are going to have to wait). If the dentist still won't see you today or tomorrow, call another who will. I'm sure that the rest of your teeth should be OK once you start taking care of them and seeing the dentist regularly (once every 6 months or so). And tell the dentist you want him or her to inject the Novocaine SLOWLY so it won't hurt. In the meantime, you can use Anbesol to help reduce your pain, and consider taking Tylenol, too. Once you see the dentist you should be fine.

Relax not all of your teeth are going to fall out. The same thing happened to me when I was 16. Part of one of my molars crumbled and fell off, my parents ignored it still and it got abscessed. When I finally went to the dentist I had a severe abscess in it which hurt really bad. I had a root canal and I also needed a root canal in the opposite molar and four fillings. But I didn't lose any teeth and they have been perfectly fine since. You will be ok, it's a good thing you are getting in to the dentist ASAP.

they will fix your broken tooth and probably find a lot of cavities to fill in. go to the dentist regularly in future, your parents are stupid for not taking you as a child and insisting that you go now you are older.

Chances are they will fill it. Shame on your parents if you have never visited a dentist before.

Seriosly the harsh reality is - PLEASE BRUSH YOUR TEETH MORE OFTEN!! :)

Put the tooth under your pillow.

just a thing you have to is patience until the day you go for dentist
