Do you want a whiter smile? Of course you do! No one wants a dull uninteresting smile! Those movie stars on tv are always complaining about wanting better brighter smiles even though they already glow. The good news is that the brightness of your smile is almost entirely within your control. You may already have discovered that your lifestyle choices play a large role in how white your teeth are even with genetics playing a small role. You can use the tips in this answer to start whitening your teeth today!

Quit smoking immediately. STOP smoking if you already do. Nicotine plays an incredibly large role in the discoloration of teeth. You can tell a smoker just by looking at the yellow smile. There is no treatment that can get rid of this if you are still smoking. Smoking is also bad for your lungs. It is also terrible for your cosmetic health too! You will see there are no benefits to continuing to smoke. Quitting is the only way to get the white smile you so desperately want.

Maintaining good oral hygiene is a simple suggestion that should go without saying but, unfortunately, plenty of people ignore it. You need to make sure you floss after every meal and brush your teeth twice a day at the very minimum. The truth is that not many people like to floss.

Things like Waterpiks, luckily, make it a lot easier to remove the gunk from between your teeth and gums. You will prevent problems from building up if you brush regularly and floss. The regular work you do will make it easier to combat larger problems. Maintaining good oral cleanliness will help you prevent these problems from arising.

Drink lots of water. When you eat you can often get a build up of detritus and water helps to rinse that away. You will also find the benefit of being more hydrated. Everyone knows that water is far better for you than any soda, coffee or tea drink. Your body will thank you for it as it will be much healthier. It also is good if you want to start whitening your teeth because water has no color to it so it cannot stain your teeth. By drinking more water, you'll end up getting rid of those stains left behind from all of those dark drinks. You can do a lot to get a brighter smile. There are way more tips than the ones listed here. When you pay attention to your teeth whitening and your oral hygiene, you will effectively improve your oral health in general. Keep in mind that a whiter smile is always healthier than a non-white smile. There are more important things than just the color of your teeth. Never forget about your gums and teeth enamel if you want the healthiest mouth possible.

It's the smoking combined with the tea. Also, any wines, certain fruits, and other foods can stain your teeth easily.

You need to quit smoking, limit your tea intake, and use whitening strips. However, if you don't quit smoking, don't bother with any of it. You'll just keep staining your teeth.

The hygienist at the dentist can get rid of it in no time.
