Am I a still a Virgin? How a Person (Men/ Women) losts his Virginity?!

Question: I am Young handsome Boy of 23 Years old. Sometimes my Dad says that I have lost my Virginity. How true is he I don't know. I've looked the meaning of this word in an Oxford Dictionary, I've found two meanings that are (1) A Person who has never had Sex AND (2) A Person who has no experience of a particular activity. But which meaning truly Explains me. Is it a second one? If I don't have an Experience of particular activity like Guitar, Keyboard (Piano), then I have lost my Virginity. Or the first one. But actually I've never had Sex with anyone (Girl), of any kind (Kissing, Touching, ******* or else). But what does he meant to say, I can't figure it out. Help...
And also tell me what kind of a Sex a person (He/ She) does so that He/ She losts his/ her Virginity. It is simply a Kissing, Touching, ******* or what?
And other question is that how a Person (Women/ Specially Men) losts his/ her Virginity.
Explain the meaning of Virgin and also Explain the answer.
Regards.
Fiona.

I think when your dad asks if you have lost your virginity, he means the first definition, that means someone who has never experienced sex or has performed it. The second meaning that you saw is merely an implication of the word.

If you had not had sex before then you are still a virgin... Strictly speaking, men who had sex with a woman is no longer a virgin, although they have not lost anything, but as men would jestingly state it, becomes experienced. a woman however, once she gave herself (have sex with a man) loses her virginity forever.

Being a virgin though for a man should really be an honor, it simply means that you have utmost respect and you honor women and the act of lovemaking. Do not rush it. When the right woman comes, when you fall in love, everything will just fall into place and you'll realize that lovemaking not sex is one of the sweetest experience in a person's life

i would say that you have not lost your virginity, your dad is just winding you up or maybe he does think that you have lost it as you a 23 years old.
You lose your virginity when you have sexual intercourse with a person, male or female, if you masturbate then you stil are a virgin

so # 1

maybe your dad is just testing you... if you really are not virgin anymore... you will lose your virginity if you will try to sex with your opposite sex... so # 1 also!!!

In my opinion, you are still a virgin. A girl is still a virgin until her "cherry" is popped or until she has a orgasim (from sexual intercourse). A guy is a virgin until he has "came" from actually having sexually intercourse.IN MY OPINION!!!

Um, this is an odd one, but I guess I can help.

My guess is that when your dad says that you have, he's either talking about something you've tried for the first time, or doesn't know that you're still a virgin sexually.

To me, a virgin is some one who has not had consentual penetrative sex. But this also varies on a persons gender and sexuality. For guys (gay or straight) he's never penetrated some one's vagina or rectum. For women it gets a little more technical. Most people consider a girl has lost her virginity after any type of penetration, but I believe she doesn't lose it until VAGINAL penetration. In the case of gay women, I guess it would just be going "all the way" with another girl, how ever you prefer to do so.

Others have told you that a person loses their virginity when they have had sexual intercourse.

I am more concerned that your father is confusing you and this is causing distress.

If you have been involved in penis / vaginal sex then you are not a virgin.

Hope this helps

Peter

I think that your dad is just trying to yank your chain and yes I do think that you are still a virgin because you have never had sexual intercourse with anyone
