Question: I'm kinda freaking out because I accidentally swallowed one of those little, hard jolly rancher candies whole. Is this bad??? How is my stomach going to digest it????? Please answer!! x(

lol i do it all the time its sugar and your stomach has acid its ok it will turn to jelly in ur stomach

You'll be fine. It'll be just like normal bits of food, you're stomach acid will be able to dissolve it (be happy you didn't choke on it) I've done this before too. Besides, I've swallowed coins when I was younger and nothing happed ;-)
Calm down, nothing is going to happen, the body will eventually break most of it down, and for the part that is undigested, it would make its way to the sewer. There is no reason to overreact because there is nothing that is going to happen.

Don't worry about it, it's pure sugar and the hydrochoric acid in your stomach will disolve it quicker than it would in your mouth.

well your obviously not choking so don't worry about it. Its probably done "digested" now. Your stomach acid is extremely "corrosive". The jolly rancher has not a chance. The worst that could happen is that it may have scratched your esophagus on the way down, which may cause you to have bit of a sore throat tomorrow, but it will be fine. NO WORRIES
It will desolve on its own. Your stomach is full of acids that could melt anything...my bet is the instant that your candy hit your stomach those acids went to work on it and the next time you visit the throne room...it will pass through your urine or stool. Don't panic. You will be fine. Just don't make it a constant thing swallowing those could lead to choking and that is much more serious.
It was at least 1/4 digested in the time it took you to type your message. Also, for future reference, if you happen to swallow a watermelon seed, it will NOT grow while in you, it will go the way of any food you eat.
