Not atall. My daughters friend had her ears pinned and she is so pleased she did. If they make you feel uncomfortable go for it.
For the record, I don't think these days 63 is old...

well its up to you... but you shouldn't worry about what you look like at that age.. i'm pretty sure there's worst things to worry about! and it's not worth getting it done, unless you really wanna impress someone
a surgery like that really depends on how YOU feel about it. if it would really make the quality of your life better, it would be worth it.
I have heard for babys tape there ears back when they sleep and they will stay back, not sure 4 grown ups since your done growing but try putting a head band over your ears when sleeping. i dont thik surgery is the way to go!
at 63 why bother?
