Why are Quitips on the....?!
Question: Ok I have gotta get to work...but I have a quick question why is it were told never stick anything in our ear but as we all know most of us clean our ears with quitips.When I went to the drug store to pick up some the only ile that had them was the baby product ile does anyone else find this strange?

She is correct- Q-Tips are supposed to be used to swab the outside area of the ear, not plunged into the bottomless pit of earwax. Millions of people do it anyway, and every day someone accidentally pushes one straight into their eardrum.
Still, it's a mystery as to why they get put in the Baby care aisle!! I once spent 10 minutes looking for them at Rite-Aid, until a clerk directed me there.
Maybe stores keep them out of the ear care section because they don't want to get sued? Some crazy person might injure themself (even though the package says don't put them inside the ear) and file a lawsuit. Like the woman who sued McDonalds after drinking coffee that was too hot.
No. You really just clean the outer ear with them. There are also Q-tips that are larger in size for infants. You don't jam them all the way into your ear canal.
