What can I do for excessive swelling that is caused by a side effect of medicati!


Question: I am on this medication for Rheumatoid Arthritis, and it sure helps but I have swelling because of the medication. What can I do to stop the swelling and contunue taking the medication? I drink lots of water and I still swell.

call your doctor. he/she needs to know that its causing all the swelling. there is possibly something he/she could do

ask the doctor if you can take a diuretic. you swell because you're retaining water and the diuretic makes you pee more.

Go to your Dr. and get something else or go for a second opinion from a health care professional.

You could try an over the counter Water Pill..........but it would be best to ask your Dr. for an RX.
