Is the "kid-friendly" hand sanitizer effective at all?!
Question: I bought Natural Concepts foaming hand sanitizer with aloe because its kid friendly, and my daughter touches everything in public then sucks on her fingers. The main ingrediant in it is Benzalkonium chloride .1%. Is that effective to kill germs at all?

I have never heard of that, that sounds great! I would compare it to the active ingredient in "adult" sanitizer. Then I would go ahead and use it, and worry no more. The answers to the q about regular sanitizer could apply here, too: keep up the hand washing, and also that letting a few germs in creates immunities.
I wonder if a bad tasting sanitizer or lotion would make her not want to suck her fingers?
Oh also, try reposting this in toddlers, maybe other mommies have done some research and you could get a few more answers!
it is one of the most to me
