Is it true that vegetarians have cleaner colons?!
Question: It takes about 24-30 hours for meat to get through and it only takes vegetables a couple of hours,so yes the colon is a lot cleaner for vegetarians.

Ummm I think it's full of crap no matter what you eat, tbh. I mean...that is what it's there for!

I don't know... I suppose a vegetarian diet is far higher in fiber, which effectively clears the colon. Also, foods in the vegetarian diet are a lot easier to digest.
I myself am a vegetarian, and I have very regular bowel movements, which is probably attributed to the high amounts of fibrous vegetables in my diet. Therefore, I suppose that my colon is on the clean side. Though, I really can't be sure. Perhaps this is a question you could ask your doctor?
