Well that doesn't really have to mean anything. If you were toenail polish often and then take it off that could do it.
But if not, It's nothing serious at all...trust me =]

You have fungus on your toenails! YOU can buy OTC medications to cure them!
you should be using nail protectant with u.v. prtection, especially if you paint them in french style, as they will turn yellow. Also, if you use nail polish without a base coat, it will also turn them yellow. Be sure you are not getting a fungus, although yellow color is not necessarily indicative of fungus.
