The B.R.A.T. diet. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and dry toast. That's what the dr prescribed when my daughter had that problem.

Take some anti-poop medicine. I'm sure there's some at your local drug store, or grocery store even.

Try dry toast and a banana.

Try Toast with Jam, and Prune Juice, stay away from dairies and acidic juices

prunes and cheese!

if you are hungry, I say eat but stay away from fruit or anything that will upset your stomach more. Best thing for you is soda crackers and 7-up

boiled rice and crackers, only drink water or 7 up good luck and take so imodioum ad

Usually, the best thing to eat is plain white rice. Acts as a binding agent, so to speak.

don't drink milk, or eat anything diary like cheese, cream, cheese etc,
i had it last week and the Dr told me that, also take some Tums Tums, it will replace the lost calcium in your stomach and it will make you feel better, dont gulp on water, just take small sips and you will be fine ;)

Drink fluids because the diarrhea will dehydrate you... I've found that a couple pills of Immodium usually help stop the flow.

Geees, be carefull....if you are Egyptian this might mean you are melting

I usually eat plain old bread nothing fancy to upset my tummy more a couple pf pieces at a time.

Eat a normal bland diet, nothing too spicy or tough on the guts, with electrolyte containing fluids like gatoraid. If it isn't a bacterial infection take immodium. If you take a drug that decreases intestinal motility while infected you will keep that bacteria around for a while.

lol, u have diarrhea

eat a banana it helps harden your poop

Well, I'm not sure about this but my mom would probably feed me plain white rice porridge if I had diarrhea.

Try this NHS self help guide:)

It is called the BRAT diet. Bananas, Rice, Apples, and Toast. Make sure there is no butter on your toast.

toast and my doctor told me gatorade helps because it has electrolytes and you lose electrolytes due to diarrhea.

Apples, and drink apple juice, lots of it.

Eat some dry toast or crackers. Feel better : )

The usual diet for getting things back in order is the BRAT diet.
B Bannanas
R Rice
A Applesause
T Toast
Then you can slowly start adding a little boiled chicken, tea, and if all goes well a bit of yogert to restore the bacteria.

bannanas

Foods like rice, dry toast, and bananas can sometimes help with diarrhea.
Avoid over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medications unless specifically instructed to use one by your doctor. Certain infections can be made worse by these drugs. When you have diarrhea, your body is trying to get rid of whatever food, virus, or other bug is causing it. The medicine interferes with this process.
I hope I help and I get a best answer!

Usually anything Dry.......such as Crackers, Oatmeal and Toast......

Stay away from Fruits such as Prunes - that will make it even worse because it has a lot of fiber and juices..........

Also, you can get this product called Imodium at Walmart or any Drug Store and you can take a dose and it will be all over with......

It is up to you on what to do, but, don't forget the more you goto the bathroom the more fluid you are losing so you need to Continue to Drink Plenty of Water............Otherwise you will Dehydrate and that can be real bad..............

Good Luck...................

white rice and sprite really helps me when I get diarrhea hope you get better soon.

bannanas help bind you. eay lots of opioid peptides in wheat- and dairy products and beta-carbolines in prepared food. # To prevent dehydration drink plenty of fluids, especially water.
# Oral rehydration fluids are available from your pharmacist and may help (find your nearest pharmacist).
# Introduce soft, bland foods, such as potatoes, bread and dry biscuits, in small amounts.
# Once your bowel motions are more solid, you can start eating your usual diet.
# Avoid fruit and foods that contain roughage, such as bran, until your diarrhoea has stopped.
# Diarrhoea can make the oral contraceptive pill less effective. Use extra contraception for seven days after your diarrhoea has stopped, and read the information in the pill packet for more advice.

avoid spicy foods , take plenty of fluids

Home treatment can help you treat your diarrhea and avoid other related problems, such as dehydration.

Take frequent, small sips of water or a rehydration drink and small bites of salty crackers.
Try to increase your fluid intake to at least 1 qt per hour for 1 to 2 hours or until diarrhea symptoms disappear.
Begin eating mild foods the next day or sooner, depending on how you feel.
Avoid spicy foods, fruits, alcohol, and caffeine until 48 hours after all symptoms have disappeared.
Avoid chewing gum that contains sorbitol.
Avoid dairy products for 3 days after symptoms disappear. Milk products may be harder for your body to digest when you have diarrhea.

Diarrhea is usually treated well with home care, but call your health care provider if you have any of these complications:

If you are unable to tolerate any food or drink

If you show signs of dehydration

If you have a high fever, significant abdominal pain, very frequent loose bowel movements, or bloody diarrhea

If you are elderly or have serious underlying medical problems, particularly diabetes, heart, kidney, or liver disease, or HIV or AIDS (Contact your health care provider when diarrhea first begins. You may be at higher risk for developing complications.)

If your symptoms do not improve in 2-3 days or appear to become worse

The most important aspect of treating diarrhea involves avoiding dehydration. Because plain water does not contain sugar, sodium, or potassium, which also is lost from diarrhea, it is important to consume plenty of fluids that contain these substances. Examples of such drinks include , prepared rehydration solutions, etc
ask freely.....any querry

sorry to hear of your suffering, rest the gastric passage by not eating for a while but you need to hydrate with Gatorade( it has a mixture of hydrating solution close to the Intravenous or IV used for hydrating in the hospitals when your admitted)

you need to rest and relax and when you feel no tummy pain or hyperbowel sounds in your tummy you may start the BRAT diet Banana,Rice and Apples are good bowel formers.

Should the loose bowel movement persist, you should seek consultation before you become dehydrated.

I prayed for your healing
God bless you
