if hes young, reyes syndrome is a risk for children taking nsaids(such as asprin, ibproufen, tylenol) when they have a fever. try putting ice on his forehead/ temples. make sure hes getting lots of fluids! try broth, jello, and lots and lots of water!
he really should be taken to the doctor. anything over 103 is dangerous. if nothing else, call his doctor, and speak to the on call physician. he or she can give you some really good suggestions.

ibuprofen or any medication like that is a fever reducer. make sure he drinks a LOT or he can get dehydrated very easily. i'd recommend going to a hospital if it gets worse. anything above 104 is very dangerous.
gave answer to this before by all means go to emergency room give tylenol in rectom if no suppository can still give pill rectal put cool cloths behind neck. in armpits, and groin area also wash whole body with cool cloths body temp will drop fast so do slowly
i would definitely seek medical assistance, however if you cannot make it to the nearest ER, i'd give tylenol elixer (use as recommended) and tepid baths.
