yes, MSG when combined with a dried dairy product will give me a migraine as will tequila *L* I love tequila but there is some kind of chemical in it that doesn't love me, one shot and I have a screaming headache..eh..I stick to whiskey and don't have any problems.

No, not to me but I know chocolate is known to trigger migraines.

Some people have allergies or adverse reactions to certain foods. Better to just steer clear.

certain foods can give you headaches. the foods vary from person to person, so what may give you headaches may not give one to someone else. my suggestion is to avoid eating those foods and see if you get them still!

Certain foods can cause headaches, especially if you are prone to migraines. It is common with red wine, processed meats. It could be the chemicals in the popcorn as this seems out of the ordinary. Many people get headaches from caffeine (coffee) especially when they DON'T drink it. I used to drink it on weekends only, then would get a headache every day during the week. Had to cut it out completely then had a really bad headache for about a week. Now I stick to decaf or the odd tea. Tea can also have a lot of caffeine if you make it strong but usually less than coffee.

Not for me. Eating too much ice cream all at once gives you a brain freeze and a headache. It could be that different foods affect people dfferently. People have allergic reactions to certain foods.
