you sit in a chair attached to a machine for 20 minutes as it takes out blood, seperates the plasma and reintroduces the blood back into your body. the after effects are the same as giving blood. i did it a few times and the last time i had gone, my vein started expanding very rapidly and the technician told me that my vein had "blown up." i expressed my concern and they took out the needle and asked me for my other arm!? i told them that i was not comfortable with anything "blowing up." i got my $ and never went back. just like you said, no such thing as easy money.
