Help, I am very stressed out? Please read?!

Question: Okay, lately things have been really stressful and hard for me. A lot of things have happened and life isn't going very well.
I have A LOT to do in my school work, and everything is just adding up. I worry a lot about things and have anxiety and it's not helping me at all. I have a hard time going to sleep at night and I have panic attacks sometimes about everything I need to do.
I also am kind of depressed and it's affecting my work to and getting it done, but that could also be my ADD.

I do not have any way to go to a counselor or to a doctor, but I really need help! What can I do to calm down and not be so stressed out? :(

I would say stand up and scream at the top of your lungs

But I guess you have already done that

The next logical thing to do is practice YOGA This is the best from of mental and physical control know to mankind I would say.

It has worked for me. And to get started go to a book store and get a good book on it.

I can not tell you which one cause I do not know what is on the market now

And after time you will evolve your own form and style to accommodate what your mind and body needs

Try it you may be a teacher of it one day and all because you had a bad year at school..

Well, if you've been diagnosed with ADD and are taking amphetamines for it, that's where your anxiety is coming from. Those pills will hype you up and stress you out. If you're not on ADD meds, the best way to avoid stress is to get everything done (schoolwork) as soon as it's assigned to you rather than waiting too long. Time management with school work and try some deep breathing exercises for relaxation.

do u have a friend that u trust that u could talk to? or someitmes when i get stressed which is pretty much with everything i do i try to stop and take a deep breath. it does help sometimes. i really wish u could see a doctor or counselor because they are the ones who can help u. sometimes u just have a chemical imbalance and they could give u some anti anxiety pills which would help. just stay strong and just think of all the things u are doing will pay off soon, hang in there

@ the crusader
since when did she mention anything about amphetamines??

exercise and make sure your eating right

and check at your school and see if they have a counselor or someone you can talk to...if you dont want to just ask, go and see the nurse and talk to her

you can minimize your stress by making a list of what u need to do and organize it by what it most important (put that at the top of your list)

prioritize ur time
focus on one thing and get it done, then move on to something else

do u have accommodations for ur ADD?
if not talk to ur teachers and set up a meeting with them and discuss your situation with them...they will help you

oh yeah and talk to your parents!

the bes thing to do is try to calm down try to fit you day together and if that doesnt work just break things up say im going to do my english essay ok... also try to just chill and figure out what homework you need to do and if ther ar some classes you can just blow off that nights homework if at all posible talk to you freinds be socal and take a min to relax and not think about homework if you think your depressesed (i no this sounds weird) take you homework outside:D enjoy the sun
