Should 12 year-olds use deodorant?!

Question: I think it would be good practice for adolescence. This about the time puberty starts and will be necessary with all the hormonal changes. It's a good habit to get into and it can't hurt!

If he feels he needs it, It won't hurt him. And it teaches him good hygiene.

Yea, If they smell BAD:)))))))))))))

um yea.

Hey, if they stink, they stink. Who cares if they are 12 or 20??

I think so

theirs no reason they cant, just make sure you buy teen deodorant and that they dont use excessive amounts of it,because deodorant does clog poors

If she needs it, yes. I wdered about that with my 11 yr old. She needed it, so we bought that teen spirit, which is very gentle on there skin. Yikes, she has an electric shaver, her hair on her legs are very, very profound. I was very nervous at first, but i accepted the fact that thats what she wanted and needed. Just talk to her and get her response. If she belives that thats what she needs, you both can come into an agreement, and get her the deoderant.

If you're worried about body odor, there's no real reason not to. There's some evidence that deodorants with aluminum in them could cause health problems later in life, so if you're worried about that, find a deodorant that's aluminum free.

Sure, if they have B.O. or excessive sweating. Why shouldn't they?

YES!

A kid in my class never wears deodorant and he's 12 and I almost suffocate everyday.
