Does this happen to you(body question)?!

Question: when i raise my shoulder and let it fall by its own weight, without forcing it down, i get a tingling sensation from my elbow right up to my last two fingers(the kind of feeling you get if you bang your funny bone hard). Is this normal? It happens on both hands. Does it happen to you?

You may have ulnar nerve tunnel syndrome - when the ulnar nerve, which normally glides smoothly between the bony structures of your elbow, becomes entrapped in the narrowed space. This results in tingling and numbness of the fingers supplied by the ulnar nerve (1/2 of the ring finger and the whole of the little finger). If it's not too bad you can stop doing that for a few weeks and hope it gets better, but if it's really bothering you, you may need to see the doctor for a steroid injection or surgery as a last resort. And no it doesn't happen to me. It shouldn't happen normally, although it's not something very serious.

sounds like nerve damage to me

It doesnt happen to me. If your worried call a doctor. It could be something and nothing but then it could be worse i don't want to says omethign incase its not correct but best advice is to call a doctor.

this reminds of me of that doctor/patient joke...

no, it doesn't happen to me...and it wouldn't happen to you if you didn't do that

No it does not happen to me, but you shouldn't do that, you are probably doing it far too often if you know what happens when you let your arm drop. You can damage your rotator cuff in your shoulder. Stop the drop and see if your still tingling in a few days, if you are go see the doctor.

after sitting trying it for a few minutes (lol bet I looked cool!) I kind of know what you mean, but I don't get it every time, I just sometimes get a faint feeling along my arm. I doubt it's anything too much of a problem though. Everyone's funny bones are probably linked up differently. :D

Yesh its normal i jus did
