How can i stop myself from wandering into the kitchen to get a snack???!

Question: If you clean your teeth after each meal, the urge to snack in-between is less desirable. Its something to do with not having the taste of food left in your mouth which makes your taste buds crave less.
Another one is to drink more. Sometimes you can think your hungry, when actually it's liquids your body is asking for.

Do not buy any snacks!

take your clothes off and look in the mirror

Find something else to do instead. How about a book?

whats so wrong with a snack? if your body says its hungry then most likely it needs more food to operate properly. If your bored than dont eat because your bored.

Oh god I used to do this all the time!
The best thing to do is distract yourself, or make sure you have some 'healthy' snacks around, not crisps, chocolate etc. Eat a fruit yoghurt, cereal bar or drink a glass of orange juice instead.

strap your self to the door or get someone else to get them for you

It's really hard to stop yourself from getting snacks. Especially if you're a subconscious snacker, like me. The BEST thing you can do for yourself is make sure you don't have a plethora of unhealthy snacks around (i.e. chips, candy, etc) and buy healthier things (yogurt, organic granola bars, fruits, veggies, etc). You won't have to worry as much about the AMOUNT of snacking you're doing as long as you know the snacks are actually pretty good for you. After that, you can consider cutting back on the amount of extra calories you're consuming (if you're still overeating a little too much, that is). Also, if you pre-cut and package fruits and veggies and other things, it makes it a lot more accessible and more likely that you'll choose it over a giant bag of chips.

What I've learned is the best way to diet is not to diet at all. Replace everyday things with a healthier alternative. For example: brown rice instead of white, olive oil instead of canola, whole wheat bread and pasta, etc. You really don't notice the difference (which makes it easy to change) and you save yourself from a load of unhealthy fats.

the best way would be to lock ya fridge door (with a padlock) and randomly throw the key somewhere you dont know then sit down then when you feel hungry again u have to do exercise to find the key (makes you fitter) it would be a healthy alternative.
