If you stay awake for 24 hours, how do you feel?!

Question: are you falling asleep or can you stay awake longer without being drowsy?

Answers: are you falling asleep or can you stay awake longer without being drowsy?

i usually hit a couple hours rite after bout 17-18 hrs then i wake back up again and become really weird and hyper and then that will last for a certain amount of time depending on the level of stimulation then ill just completely crash and sleep for a long time

I start feeling nauseated and sick. I also become wired so I can't sleep. It totally sucks.

like sh-t..

I've stayed awake sometimes for over 36 hours. Sometimes I feel wired, and sometimes, I get so brain-dead its sad. Like you could ask me something, and I'll give an answer, that is completely unrelated to the subject.

crappy

I've done 24 hours, no big deal, if you're in good health. And have done as much as 72 hours.

I can say that 72 hours wasn't the best idea and thank goodness I didn't need to operate any heavy machinery or drive a vehicle. I was functioning but when I was finally able to sleep I slept for a long period of time. When I woke up the previous 3 days were a bit vague.

I was able to do it because I regularly take natural herbs and a high quality multi-vitamin and generally speaking I am in very good health.

It really does depend on what you are doing .. what your age is and how healthy you are.. If you are young and healthy you can stay up all night and all the next day , and you will be tired... But you won't be falling asleep unless you are bored.. As long as you stay busy and keep the blood flowing you won't be falling down sleepy.. You will be very tired for a couple days while you body tries to heal itself.. Not a smart thing to do very often .. but can ,and has been done many times ,by many people.. : )

The longest I've ever stayed awake because I couldn't sleep was 3 nights 4 days and I started hallucinating, getting weak, and depressed on day three. By day four I was like a zombie. I was going to school and then working after school at the time...but I'd don't remember those days at all. 24 hours is nothing though...when I had my baby I stayed awake longer than that due to the crying...and even with continuous crying and no sleep I felt pretty much okay...just tired with the only thing on my mind being sleep...and how nice it would be.

It really messes up with your sleeping habits, you find that you get tired during the day instead of in the evening. i felt realy drained and when i sit down i couldnt get up, i kept zoning out all the time, its not good, try it if you want but i advise you not to.
People take it different ways though so others wont feel that bad whilst others will feel physically drained.
