I am having trouble waking up in the mornings.?!


Question: I sleep right past the time I am supposed to wake up. I can't make myself wake up when I want to. What should I do?

#1 - go to bed at least 8 hours before the time you want to get up
#2 leave your blinds open so the morning sun will light up your room in the morning
#3 sometimes you go though sleep cycles that are easier to wake from than others - for example, I have no problem getting up at 5:40 AM, but for the life of me I cannot wake up if I accidentally set the alarm for 5:30 or 6 AM. Some times work better than others for some off the wall reason that I don't know - find your trigger time by experimenting with your alarm clock. Set it for a different time every day to get a feel for the easiest wake-up time and go with it.
#4 take a shower in the morning - it helps to wake me up anyway, if only because by the time I get up my husband has already used up the hot water... brrrrrisk!

Go to bed earlier and get an alarm clock.

Do some sport during the day and you will know that you will sleep tight, put a big allarm clock.

before you sleep, imagine your body clock. if you have to wake up let's say 7 am, imagine you waking up at 7 am. concentrate on it... in no time you'll see youself waking up at 7am... works every time.. mind over matter...

low blood suger is the main cause for tiredness or sleeping in. eat 3 healty meals daily go to bed at a reasonable time, and if necessary get a alarm.

tell yourself before you go to sleep
what time it is, how many hours you will sleep
and what time you will wake up

sound silly but it works
it keeps your brain aware of what's going on
instead of startling it with an alarm clock
and expecting it to adjust

have alarm.
