Paxil effects?!
Question: I have been taking Paxil for about 2 months, and last Friday I stopped. Well lately I have been incredibly dizzy and I have a wierd feeling in my stomach. Also, my hands and feet are really cold, and I can see small pink lines on my hands and arms. Whenever I'm cold I get them. Does this have anything to do with quitting Paxil? And also, will it stop anytime soon?

It is very dangerous to just stop taking a medication! you should talk to your doctor about it first. Then if you do decide to stop you should NEVER stop cold turkey. you need to taper off of it. that means if you take 2 pills a day you can try taking 1.5 for a couple weeks, then if everything is fine you can start taking 1 pill a day for a couple weeks, everything ok, then .5 for a couple weeks. if symptoms occur then go back up to where you were just before. I would definantly go see your doctor as soon as possible to discuss the symptoms you described. I dont know what your health history is so talk to the doctor.
