Was I scammed? be honest please?!
Question: I am morbidly obese. My friend told me about a drug that can make you lose 5 pounds a day. People use it for all kinds of purposes but since the 1930's it has not been used for human consumption. I bought 300 grams of it by poising as a chemistry student, and gave them a university mailing address and instead of devliering it to my house which is what I wanted they delivered it to the university. Then I went to university to collect the package, I know the names of the professeurs there and I have a student card so that is what I did, but they shipped it to the main campus, I'm at the satellite one. Shipping costs $80 dollars because the chemicals are potentially explosive. I bought 100 capsules from another company online and paid them $7.00 per capsule (10x the cost that it takes to make the stuff) and the charge $5.00 shipping. Now 12 days have passed, and the package has not arrived in my mail box. Then I found another website that also claims to sell this stuff BUT

It doesn't really matter if you were scammed, the question is - why would you want to take this stuff? See a doctor, get on the treadmill (walk slow BUT do something, anything!) I know a person who was morbidly obese, who one day said NO MORE! You would never know it today - she helped me lose all my baby weight - she is a personal trainer, I hardly recognized her in old pics! PLEEZ, diet/exercise is the only way - NO PILLS/EXPLOSIVES, no one will be accountable in this situation if you get hurt!
And overall, it does sound like a scam too...
i would say you may have gotten scammed. however, since you were trying to scam them as well lol by posing as a chemistry student, theres a good chance there couldve been a mixup....why would you by anything thats potentially explosive!?!
Is it shipped from another country? if so it would probably take a while to get here but normally it takes less than a week to get anythign shipped w/in the US. So yes I would say you were scammed.
I believe that yes you were most likely scammed. Have you looked in to gastric bypass or lap band. Check out obesityhelp.com the RNY worked wonders for me. I did have insurance that paid for it. I wouldnt take it personally. Have you looked to see what kind of side effects this stuff has?
