You probably are just finding the stuff too boring!. Try to imagine what is going on in your head like a video screen!. If you don't understand what a line means don't skip it investigate it look it up in the dictionary!. I know a lot of kids do that when they just read words not knowing what they mean!. I always used to stop them and ask them ok what just happened!. And they would either get an animated look on their face and explain or the would look at me cluelessly!. I think you are just reading the words!. No you do not have brain damage!. A lot of kids were taught to read this way!. Some of the novels from other time peroids are very difficult to digest because they use strange infrences that we are not used to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
your probably just either not getting focused enough or reading too fast i do that !. read a chapter and summerize and if you need to reread if you missed a few things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You are not fully focusing on your book!.!.AKA "zoning out"!.!.lol!. Have a strong cup of coffee before you read!.!.the caffeine in it will stimulate your brain and you will focus better (seriously!) Caffeine helps people with ADD focus too!.!.same principle here!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
