Answers:
It wouldn't show up in a test for narcotics, but if they test for a wider range of drugs it might!.

If you truly have Fibromyalgia-excercise will have limited effect-it does help-but not great-

Fibromyalgia has been believe to be a disorder of tehcentral nervous system for about 10 years now!. Exercise primarily helps teh musculoskeletal system!. While exercise may somewhat help the SYMPTOMs it doesn't address the SYNDROME itself!.

If you are not able to be successful in the military due to disability-you may be able to get assistance from teh department of vocational rehab (in teh US)they have been known to pay for college/job training!.

Thr truth behing Fibromyalgia is that it is believed that people are genetically predisposed-and it is triggered by emotional and/or physical trauma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lyrica is an anti-epileptic drug, also called an anticonvulsant!. It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures!. Lyrica also affects chemicals in the brain that send pain signals across the nervous system!.

Lyrica is used to control seizures and to treat fibromyalgia!. It is also used to treat pain caused by nerve damage in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy) or herpes zoster (post-herpetic neuralgia)!.

It wouldn't show up in a test for opiates or anything like that!.
I am not sure what all the Miitary looks for though!.!.!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not think it would because those type of drugs exit your system fast!. Wow you really think you have fibromyalgia and you want to gut out basic training and AIT or whatever branch you go to!. You must be desperate!. If you can make it in you should be ok, because despite the hype most jobs in the military are pretty much regular jobs!. You are taking a risk but that's your business!. Good luck BTW do not tell MEPS anything they will reject you, do not mention itWww@Answer-Health@Com

They might see a pain killer in your blood, but that doesn't mean they will know why you took it!.

Fibro isn't something you can "push through" very long, if you really do have it!. You need to have some sort of treatment or you will wear yourself out to the point you won't be ABLE to push through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
