Why am i taller then everybody in my family?!
Question: Why am i taller then everybody in my family!?
I am 6ft 2 inches tall, my mom is 5ft 3, and my dad is 5ft 11!. The rest of my family, including grandparents, and uncles are all under 6ft tall!. If height is determined mostly my genetics, what happened in my case!?

You probably inherited just recessive tall alleles (a specific genetic trait tall/short fat/skinny) you got tall/tall most of your family probably inherited tall/short which is the most likely combination!. search for alleles on google so you can understand (it's pretty complicated)!. and if you want to see how tall you might be, make a height vs!. time graph and see where it rounds off, if it's still pretty vertical then you might continue growing for awhile (family doctors usually chart this for you)Www@Answer-Health@Com
your genes have everything to do with it, not so much your diet!. who knows when you'll stop i didn't stop until i was 20!. its different for everyone!. I'm the tallest female in my family!. I'm guessing your asking this because your only 16 and probably the tallest 16 year old in you school!. dint worry the other kids will eventually catch up to you and tall guys are sexy!. so don't worry be happy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i heard in science class once, something about inherriting genes from grandparents!. your dad might be short but his brothers/sister may be tall!. and because both of ur parents are short that means 2 equal chromozones lol i think thats what theyre called, so basically while ur being produced they dont bond or somethink and rebound to you parents backgrounds!. if that bade sence
