Question: Scared to undress in front of doctor!?
IF you've read my other Q you know that I think I have a vaginal infection!. Anyways, I'm going to see the doctor about it but I'm really scared because I REALLY don't like anyone looking at my private parts!. I won't even let my mom see me without my underwear!. I'm really scared about undressing for the doctor!. What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Face your fear, and afterwards you won't have that fear anymore!. Force yourself to do this because you will have to do it throughout your life!. Also remember that your doctor is a professional who sees bodies all day!. Yours is nothing different!. To him/her, you are just a human body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
For a vaginal infection they may just ask you to give a urine a urine sample for a urine culture & analysis!. Ten they may give you medicine then or wait for culture to come back!. Drink water before you go, so it's easier to urinate!.
Tell MD you are VERY nervous & it's your 1st time!. As someone said, they will tell you to undress, you can probably keep your top on, & put on a gown!. They then usually put a sheet across your bottom 1/2 & MD looks under it!.!.!.it is over in a minute!.
It's always nervewracking!.

You won't have to undress in front of the doctor, but they will have to examine your vagina!. The nurse will leave you in the exam room alone to undress and will give you a paper blanket or robe to put on!. They will knock on the door before they enter!. You will always be covered even when your feet are in the stirrups!. Just take a deep breath, close your eyes, and relax!. It will be very quick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Have someone like your mom or your friend be in there with you!. Plus, you will transfer out of your clothes and into the hospital gown without anyone there!. When Dr!. comes in you'll be in your gown, less scary than undressing in front of someone!. If you have moral support and a FEMALE gyno, it will make it alot easier for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Go to the doc and get proper treatment
2!. Ignore it and hope it goes away

First of all, you dont have to undress in front of the doctor!. They give you a gown to put on and then look under it!.
But typically for a vaginal infection they dont look at your vagina!.They just ask you your symptoms and then give you a perscription for medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i would be even more scared but try to imagine him/her in their underwear or if you are super duper scared then if they are a different gender to get a doctor the same gender as you!. i feel for you but unless that does not work out ask them take an x ray if they canWww@Answer-Health@Com
ur not ganno expose ur whole body, u'll have a gown to wear!. so its not ganno feel that bad i guess!. u'll probably also have a nurse beside u!. n the doctor's only doing his/her job and at the end of the day every women has a vagina so its natural n the doctor will also act normal!. dnt worry and best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get over it!. Doctors are professionals, they have to look at tons of people every day!. It's not like they are going to violate you!. Just keep it formal and don't make chitchat!.!.!. that way it will be more professional and you won't have to speak about it ever again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you shouldnt worry too much about the doctor because he has probably seen hundreds of girls with the same kind of infection so it wont even phase him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
