Answers:
First and foremost, fighting thugs isn't going to help get rid of them!.!.!. they'll just get tougher thugs to fight back, not to mention the fact that by trying to fight them, you will be closer to becoming like them!.

That being said, if you want to get stronger, you have to exercise!. If you would also like to learn how to defend yourself (in case you are confronted with some thugs), I would suggest taking a Martial Arts class (Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Kung Fu, etc)!. Taking classes like this will help you to get stronger as you learn to defend yourself and those around you!.
I've been taking Tae Kwon Do classes for almost the last year, and I've already gained more than 10 pounds of solid muscle (I'm not sure how much weight from fat I've replaced with muscle, though), not to mention I'm faster and can more easily defend myself!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whats the problem with being physically weak!?

You are who you are!. Accept that 'as is' and stop looking at it as a problem!. If you chose to improve yourself physically then fine, go ahead!. Its for no one to say which state is 'better'!.

I dont suppose the most powerful man on the planet (yes Bush) would last long if he had to face some of the 'street junkies' you describe!.

Beating them up will not get rid of them!. It will only serve to reenforce their 'downtrodden me' attitude!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can build muscle and learn to fight, but those thugs carry knives and guns and even the best of fighters aren't a match for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
