Nose Bleeding...?!
Question: Nose Bleeding!.!.!.!?
I have the flu, I just blew my nose and now it's bleeding!. I stuffed a piece of tissue up there!. Anything else I should do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT LAY DOWN! Okay, my nose started bleeding recently & I researched what to do!. Make sure to stay upright!.!.!.don't even tilt your head forwards or backwards!. Pinch your nose lightly & hold a tissue under it to make sure the blood doesn't drip!. Remaining upright allows the blood to continue circulation!. Also!.!.!.avoid blowing your nose for the next couple hours!. Also!.!.!.no picking your nose! Honestly, the website said this!.!.!.I was shocked too! Nose bleeds when you have the flu can be caused by a couple of things!.
Excessive nose blowing can break the tiny blood vessles in your nose and cause bleeding!. So can picking the dried blood out cause it to start again!.
If you havent been 'blowing too hard' or too often, then its possible you have a Strep!. bug in there!. (Grems love warm wet places to breed) This too can cause nose bleeds
Also, placing a tissue 'up' your nose is not a good idea, when the bleeding stops and the tissue that was there was acting like a 'scab'!. When you pull the tissue out, your pulling the 'scab' off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!. Don't forget to take it out! I feel bad for you!.!.!.!.I HATE the flu with a passion!. I've had it twice!.!.!.!.and it SUCKS!. Don't forget that chicken soup! Really, it will make you feel better!.!.!.!.but eat it as hot as you can stand it w/o burning your mouth!.!.!.

Just wait till it stops bleeding, people everywhere say don't lay down or people say laying down does nothing!. Just wait!. The reason why your noes started bleeding was because it was dry from you being sick so w/blowing your noes you probably stretched some skin and made it bleed!. So yeah wait and see if it stops bleeding!. That's all i can say really!.

Tilt your head forward, in between your legs!. Pinch the bridge of your nose!. That will stop the bleeding!. It will take a few minutes, so be patient!. I get nosebleeds once in a while, because of the dry air!. Whatever you do, don't tilt your head back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
meds are probably drying out your nose and making it bleed!. once you get the bleeding stopped, try taking a face cloth under water as hot as you can stand it and place the whole thing over your face!. it feels good too!
