Question: Why do people say to look at a bright light when you feel like you need to sneeze!?

Answers:
Apparently it happens because the nerves which run from the eyes to the brain are close (or have some other proximity) to the nerves which run from the nose to the brain!. When you look at a bright light, or go from a dark place to a light place, it makes the nerves running from the eyes to be brain twitch, but because they are so close to the nose nerves it makes them twitch as well and can induce a sneeze!.

That's what I've heard anyway, it works sometimes when I do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does help trigger the sneeze!. However, do not stare at the light, you could hurt your eyes!. I just make repeated quick glances at the light!. That usually works!.

Oh yeah, Gesundheit !

( that's German for "wipe your nose" )Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not quite sure why, but it does!. The sun, a reading light even sometimes when I have to sneeze at night I just turn on my cell and look at it!. Then I sneeze, better then keeping it in!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Works like nobodys buisiness!. Give it a whirl, next time a sneeze is right below the surface!Www@Answer-Health@Com
