Does pain feel the same for everybody?!
Question: Does pain feel the same for everybody!?
Does pain feel the same for everybody, or are some people just better at taking the pain!? For a person that has a really high pain resistance, does it feel the same to a person that has average or below average resistance!? Or is the more pain resistant person just tougher!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a rather high pain tolerance, and for me!.!. it seems to feel the same as how others describe it!.!. it just takes more for me to get there!.
Where most people would be feeling it, for me it's almost "background noise" - something in the back of the mind, where I know it's there, but it doesn't bother me and is quickly forgotten unless I actively think about it!.
It's like when you run your fingers softly over your skin and at a certain pressure it feels ticklish and others it *almost* feels ticklish, but not quite!.
It's a bad thing, as far as I'm concerned!. I injure my dumb self constantly and end up with long-term issues because things don't hurt me enough at the time to go to a doctor!.
The "toughness" thing is a misguided male concept that's widespread but entirely untrue!. For example, women have higher pain tolerance than men (better immune systems, too)!. Makes sense, when you remember that they give birth and all!. So a "tough as nails" guy will still feel more pain than any petite 100-lb gal you see in town!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no way to tell if pain felt by one person is felt the same way by another!. I do know that different people have different pain level tolerances!. With the same surgical procedure one person might require morphine while the other only requires tylenol!. Hope this helps but I didn't really answer your main question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think that some people are simply better at taking pain!. For example, if I go pinch someone they scream!. But when someone pinches me just as hard, I don't mind!. I can feel the pain very well, it hurts, but!.!.!.it's hard to explain!. I feel pain but it doesn't bother me!. That doesn't seem to make sense!.!.!.well I hope you get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No!. We perceive pain differently and we react to pain differently!. One can stub a toe and be in horrible pain another can get a huge bruise and never know!. For a more in depth way of figuring it out see:

We all process pain differently and it's impossible to measure!. Pain is whatever the person says it is; that simple!. That's why in the hospital we ask you to rate your pain level on a scale of 0-10 and what your acceptable level of pain would be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah there are some people who can deal with it better!. I got kneed in the nuts and fell to the floor in tremendous pain, my buddy got kneed in the crotch by the same girl and he walked it off fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
