Question: Food going down the wrong pipe!?
When you swallow food and it goes down the wrong 'pipe' does it end up in your lungs!? If so then what happens!? Does it just stay in there forever!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If food goes down the wrong pipe then either you choke or you cough!. If you choke it stays their either forever (or until the pathologist removes it during the post mortem) or until someone performs the Heimlich Manoeuvre on you!. If you cough it comes out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No it doesn't stay there forever, you cough it up, or choke!. Your lungs arn't empty pots that food can fall into, they're full of little branches that take air into your blood, so i isn't possible to get food building up in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
